For the last two sessions of the EU Society, leadership arranged for visits to European embassies. In the ninth session, EU Society President - Shruti lead a visit to the Embassy of Slovenia for an open and engaging discussion with Ambassador Jernej Müller. 

The discussion focused on Slovenia’s approach to sustainable development, its environmental priorities, and practical examples of how sustainability-focused policies are implemented in everyday life. Students expressed particular interest in learning how local communities in Slovenia actively support environmentally friendly practices and how sustainability is embedded into daily routines rather than remaining only at the policy level.

In conclusion, the session provided valuable insight into Slovenia’s sustainability model while fostering meaningful dialogue between students and diplomatic representatives. The Embassy thanked the EU Society students for their thoughtful questions and active participation, making the session an informative and rewarding exchange.
