First session of the EU Society 2025-2 commenced with the welcome remarks delivered by the President, Shruti, who warmly greeted the attendees and set a positive tone for the session. The proceedings were then taken over by the Vice President, who provided a clear and engaging introduction to the EU Society, explaining its purpose, vision, and the various opportunities it offers to members. This included a detailed overview of participation requirements, emphasizing the importance of active involvement through presentations and maintaining a minimum of 80% attendance. To make the session interactive and engaging, fun games were conducted, including “Two Truths and a Lie,” which encouraged members to interact and learn more about each other, and “Know Your Neighbor,” where participants were asked to speak with the person next to them about their favorite European food and identify three European cultural differences compared to where they live. These activities helped foster connection, cultural awareness, and enthusiasm among participants. Overall, the session concluded on a positive and energetic note, successfully informing attendees about the EU Society while creating an inclusive and interactive environment that encouraged participation and interest in future activities.
