The eighth session at EU society was a collaboration between the EU Society and the Society for Climate Change and Sustainable Development (SCCSD). It focused on examining the environmental and social impacts of fast fashion while exploring pathways toward more sustainable production and consumption. She also critiqued how responsibility is often placed on consumers, while corporations continue profit-driven practices, underscoring the need for systemic change involving producers, governments, and international regulation. Through this joint session, participants were encouraged to critically reflect on EU and national policy responses, corporate accountability, and individual responsibility, while engaging in practical discussions on ethical consumption and sustainable fashion alternatives.
