Prof. Bersick and Prof. Michalski presented on their research titled, "Role Theory Meets Geo-politics: Implications for EU's role in Asia and Beyond." 

Their paper analyzes the ongoing role change of the European Union from a normative actor to a geo-political actor and its implications for the EU as an international actor.

This research aims to bridge the analytical gap between role theory and geo-politics to describe and explain the evolving international order and the function of connectivity as an instrument to shape it.
